MANCHESTER UNITED star Jesse Lingard worked up a sweat in a toiling gym session this week.

The Red Devils star posed shirtless for several pictures after hitting the weights for an intense workout, just days after getting a new tattoo in tribute to his daughter.

Lingard, 29, hasn’t played much football for United this season.

Indeed, he has featured just 11 times in the Premier League this season.

But the England midfielder is clearly taking his fitness seriously as he bids to play a part in United’s run-in.

Lingard failed to secure a move away from Old Trafford in January despite entering the final six months of his contract.

And the ace appeared to hit out at Ralf Rangnick for blocking an exit following an approach from Spurs.

However, Tottenham look to have missed the boat now.

That’s because Lingard would reportedly prefer a move abroad this summer.

The likes of Sevilla, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund are all said to be interested.

However, should Lingard opt to remain in the Premier League, he is likely to have offers from old loan side West Ham and mega-rich Newcastle too.
